Phil in Salem: 2013 aha moment tour from Mutual of Omaha

This podcast of Talking About Art is from KMUZ in Salem Oregon.
Phil Decker, photographer and co-curator of Creating Abundance: Documenting Harvest and Hunger Through Art, talks about the exhibit.

This video showcases the recent work done by the Salem Photo League (and others) to hang local art in the empty storefronts of downtown Salem Oregon.

This video showcases Phil's "Haitian Farmworker Document" which is now part of the permanent collection at the Nabb Research Institute at Salisbury University, in Salisbury, Maryland.

This video was created by Phil to capture the sights and sounds in the rural village of El Varal in the Michoacan, Mexico. Residents of El Varal have been migrating to Salem, Oregon since the Bracero Program in the 1940s.
